Boomslang and Tree pit vipers 2012-04-26

In the terrariums for tree dwelling snakes we have 3 new snakes. The white-lipped tree pit viper - Trimeresurus albolabris, the Sri Lankan green pit viper - Trimeresurus trigonocephalus and the Boomslang - disambiguation. They are all species endemic to Sri Lanka. The Boomslang is on loan from Skansen Akvariet in Stockholm.
